Yastremska’s last main draw match (at Acapulco), ended with retirement on match point after she twisted her ankle in the first round clash against Monica Puig.
2017 was a good season for the 17-year-old Ukrainian. She won a $60,000 clay title at Hungary and reached the final of $100,000 St. Petersburg (where she secured her first Top 50 win, #46 Donna Vekic).
