John Isner vs Horacio Zeballos Tennis Prediction

Horacio Zeballos snapped his three-match losing run by handing Yuichi Sugita his tenth straight defeat and the 17th defeat of the season, 6-4 6-7 6-4 6-2.
The last and only time Horacio Zeballos won back-to-back matches this season was at ATP Sao Paulo in the first week of March 2018, when he defeated Thomaz Bellucci, Gael Monfils and Rogerio Dutra Silva before losing to Nicolas Jarry in the semifinal.
The Argentinian failed to progress beyond the second round of the French Open in his first nine appearances, but in 2017, he recorded his best result (in this slam) by defeating Adrian Mannarino (R1), Ivo Karlovic (R2) and David Goffin (R3).
John Isner kickstarted his tenth French Open campaign by defeating compatriot and wildcard entrant Noah Rubin in a closely fought first round encounter, 6-3 7-6 7-6.
The big-serving American has played 22 sets since the start of the clay season, and 13 of those 22 sets went to the tiebreaker. John Isner has never won more than ten matches on clay in a single season, and his tally stands at 5/4 at the moment.
John Isner has entered the main draw of French Open nine times in the past, and understandably, he never progressed beyond the round of 16. In 2017, he defeated Jordan Thompson and Paolo Lorenzi (R2) but lost to Karen Khachanov in the third round.
Despite being the better clay courter of these two, Horacio Zeballos lost all his previous three clay meetings with John Isner. However, two of those defeats came in Houston which is completely different from the conditions in Paris. Horacio Zeballos, playing to the best of his ability, does have an equal chance of winning this second round clash and they could probably need a couple of tiebreakers to settle the match.
