The Minaur has made two really nice matches so far and I can not see him fold down in his third. Two matches & two wins. First, he cleans Caruana very easily. Then he beat last year’s finalist Rublev with 3-1. It was a little problem, of course, against the Russians, but I think De Minaur solved it very nicely & easily after losing one.
Fritz, on the other hand, has had major problems here in Milan. First hit Rublev (which De Minaur hit quite easily) and then he got a problem & dropped against Wild Card player Caruana. I do not think Fritz has shown any good tennis here in Milan, making the choice very easy for me.
