Mischa Zverev vs Karen Khachanov Tennis Prediction

The three-time quarterfinalist, Mischa Zverev, will make his tenth appearance at ATP Halle (home event) this week. In 2017, he defeated Lukas Lacko in the first round but lost to Roger Federer in the second round.
Despite facing a second-round exit from ATP Stuttgart last week, the veteran German would probably be satisfied with his performance as he very nearly took a set and break lead against the eventual champion Roger Federer before losing out in three sets, 6-3 4-6 2-6.
Karen Khachanov will kickstart his grass season at ATP Halle this week. He recently ended his three-match losing run by progressing to the round of 16 at the French Open, where he lost the closely fought five-set match to Alexander Zverev.
Making his Halle debut in 2017, the talented Russian defeated the likes of Gilles Simon, Kei Nishikori (retirement) and Andrey Rublev before losing to Roger Federer in the semifinal (4-6 6-7). It was also his career-best result in a grass tournament (at all levels).
Mischa Zverev leads the H2H 2-1, but Karen Khachanov won their recent meeting which came on the indoor hard courts of Marseille earlier this season. Though the Russian is the better player at the moment, experience and ability on grass make Zverev the favorite in this first round encounter.
