Novak Djokovic vs Adrian Mannarino Tennis Prediction

Novak Djokovic produced his best performance of the season when he dispatched the world #5 Grigor Dimitrov in straight sets on Thursday, 6-4 6-1. Former world #1, who was talking about the possibility of skipping the grass tournaments after suffering a shock defeat against Marco Cecchinato in the French Open, has now scored two dominant wins this week (vs. John Millman in R1).
The 12-time grand slam champion has the chance to return into the top 20 next week if his quarterfinal opponent Adrian Mannarino does not reach the final of ATP London. With two more wins (QF and SF) in London, Novak Djokovic can earn himself a top 12 seeding at the Wimbledon.
Djokovic, who was stunned by Marco Cecchinato in the quarterfinal of the French Open earlier this month, made two quarterfinal appearance on the grass in 2017, defeated Donald Young in Eastbourne but lost to Tomas Berdych in Wimbledon (retired).
Adrian Mannarino knocked out the dangerous looking Julien Benneteau in straight sets, 7-6 6-3, to reach the quarterfinal of ATP London for the first time since 2011 (lost to James Ward).
This is a much-needed win for the Frenchman considering he was going through a six-match losing run before entering ATP London and this is the first time he has managed to win back-to-back matches since his semifinal run at the New York Open in February 2018.
Adrian Mannarino has registered 18 match wins on grass in the last two seasons which includes a runner-up finish at ATP Antalya 2017 and two more quarterfinal appearances at ATP Newport (L) 2016 and ATP Hertogenbosch (L) 2016.
These two players have met twice in Wimbledon (2016 and 2017) with Novak Djokovic winning both of those matches in straight sets. The Serbian is looking good this week, and he should be able to secure his third win over the Frenchman.

Tennis Prediction: Novak Djokovic 2-0 SET
Odds: 1.50
