Postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Roland Garros tournament will take place between September 27 and October 11, with spectators, the organizers of the Paris Grand Slam announced on Thursday.

According to FFT, the number of spectators admitted to the arena will be 50% to 60% of normal capacity.

Spectators will be allowed to walk in groups of up to four people, and in the arena they must leave a free space between them. The rule will apply to the three main pitches: Philippe Chatrier, Suzanne Lenglen and Simonne Mathieu.

On the other annexes, two seats will be left between the spectators.

Physical spacing measures must be observed inside the complex.

Access tickets will go on sale starting July 9th.

Roland Garros qualifiers will take place between September 21-25.

Simona Halep, 28, champion at Roland Garros in 2018, included the Paris tournament in her competitive calendar.
