A 250 level ATP tournament is taking place in Cologne for the second week in a row.
Most of the players present at the first edition stayed at the competition in Germany and are trying their luck for the second time.
The match that caught my attention is between Sumit Nagal and Miomir Kecmanovic.

She is scheduled for Monday, from 17:00, on field number 1. Below you can read her analysis, and at the end you will find my tip.

Sumit Nagal: Team form, news and statistics

The 129th ATP Indian comes from qualifying. In the first match played at the competition in Germany, Norbert Gombos surprisingly passed, and in the decisive duel for the qualification on the main table, he lost 2-6, 2-6 in front of the Frenchman Pierre-Hugues Herbert.
After several withdrawals from the tournament, Sumit reached the main stage as Lucky Loser.
He didn’t have much time to adjust to the hard drive in the Cologne hall. Last week he played on clay in Cagliari (Italy), where he won two games in qualifying, and in round 1 on the table he lost to Laslo Djere, who was to win the ATP Sardinia title. For the level he is at, Nagal has managed 7 victories at Challenger and ATP level since the resumption of the world circuit.
The success of the first round of the US Open stands out, when Sumit eliminated the hosts’ representative, Bradley Klahn.

Miomir Kecmanovic: Team form, news and statistics

The talented Serbian player is ranked 41st in the world, just two career-high ATP positions. Miomir took his title at Kitzbuhel into account, but after that he had disappointing evolutions at Roma and Roland Garros.
Returning to the hard drive, a surface that highlights his fast and strong executions, Kecmanovic got a victory at St. Petersburg.
The 21-year-old athlete defeated Mikhail Kukushkin, and then lost in round 2 in a knife-edge confrontation with the British Cameron Norrie (5-7, 7-6, 3-6). Although he did not play in Cologne last week, Miomir is accustomed to indoor hard tennis.
He arrived in Germany early and had time to get used to the new game conditions here.
Even though he is only 1.83 meters tall, the Serb relies on a varied service, with which he often puts his opponents in difficulty.

Tennis Prediction of the Day Sumit Nagal vs Miomir Kecmanovic

Miomir Kecmanovic is the favorite in this match for several reasons: he has a better developed game from the bottom line, his variety in executions is superior to Nagal, and his position in the standings says a lot about the success of the two in the world circuit. Nagal managed to take only 4 games in Sunday’s match in Cologne with Pierre-Hugues Herbert.
I consider Kecmanovic superior to the player from France, so I expect him to take into account his success in a minimum of sets in front of the opponent from India.

Prediction Today: 2-0 victory in Miomir Kecmanovic sets
Odds: 1.50
