Tennis Prediction

For today we have a very good match for online betting: Thanasi Kokkinakis vs Fernando Verdasco at ATP – SINGLES: Miami (USA), hard.
Is quite impressive that the Thanasi Kokkinakis won against Roger Federer in decisive set: 3/6 6/3 7/6.
These two players met once in the Hopman Cup 2013 when Fernando Verdasco prevailed in straight sets. Both these players are capable of beating each other, and this contest is very evenly poised.

Thanasi Kokkinakis Preview

Thanasi Kokkinakis, who was scheduled to play a Challenger event next week, extended his Miami stay with a stunning three-set win over Roger Federer in the second round, 3-6 6-3 7-6. “This is nuts. I was scheduled to play a Challenger next week.” – said Kokkinakis after the win.
Currently ranked #175, Kokkinakis becomes the lowest-ranked player to beat a world #1 in 15 years since the Spanish qualifier Francisco Clavet (#178) upset Lleyton Hewitt in the second round of Miami Open.
The Aussie who was invited by Roger Federer to train with him in Dubai a few weeks ago said, “I was just trying to get as much information as I could from him.”
Thanasi Kokkinakis had been struggling with injuries over the last two seasons (17 matches in 24 months), and this run (four wins at the Miami Open) will give him the much-needed confidence.

Fernando Verdasco News

Like Kokkinakis, Fernando Verdasco fought back from a set down to defeat compatriot Guillermo Garcia Lopez to secure his progression into the third round, 4-6 6-0 6-2.
The Spaniard’s last four matches have all gone to three sets, and he has managed to win three of them, against Guillermo Garcia Lopez (Miami), Grigor Dimitrov (IW) and Guido Pella (IW).
Fernando Verdasco lost his third round match here in his previous two appearances, against Kei Nishikori in 2017 and Horacio Zeballos in 2016.
Moreover, Verdasco lost his third round match to Taylor Fritz at the Indian Wells earlier this month, and he will be hoping to avoid yet another third-round exit when he takes on Thanasi Kokkinakis this Monday.
