Aljaz Bedene vs Marius Copil Tennis Prediction

This first round match between Marius Copil and Aljaz Bedene is a rematch of their first-round encounter at ATP Budapest two months back, where the Slovenian edged the closely fought contest in three sets, 6-7 7-5 6-3.
Aljaz Bedene, who is defending his quarterfinal points at Hertogenbosch this week, managed to win his first-round match in his previous two appearances at this tournament, defeated Ernesto Escobedo in 2016 and Denis Istomin in 2017.
Despite having his career best clay season in 2018, Aljaz Bedene failed in the main event as he suffered a first-round defeat in the French Open last fortnight, against Pablo Cuevas.
Like Aljaz Bedene, Marius Copil made exactly the quarterfinal and round of 16 at Hertogenbosch in his previous two appearances but the last time he played here was in 2015.
This time last year, the big-serving Romanian opted to enter the Challenger event at Nottingham where he defeated the likes of Reilly Opelka and Bjorn Fratangelo to reach the semifinal.
Though Copil is going through a four-match losing run at the moment, he will see this as a good period to get some wins, having gone 6/3 on this surface in 2017 and 9/3 in 2016.
Aljaz Bedene leads the H2H 3-0 (all on clay), but Marius Copil had his chances in their recent match at ATP Budapest. The Romanian has got a better record on grass, and expect him to have his chances once again on Monday.
