Tommy Robredo vs Ivo Karlovic Tennis Prediction

These two players faced thrice during their prime years, and surprisingly, Ivo Karlovic came out on top on all three occasions, including twice on clay.

Tommy Robredo News

Tommy Robredo returns to the main draw of ATP World Tour for the first time in nearly ten months. The last time he entered the main draw of a tour event was in 2017 at Geneva, where he lost to Franko Skugor in the first round.
The former World #5, Tommy Robredo, attempted to enter the main draw of Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo, Marrakech and Monte Carlo but failed in the qualifying stages of all four tournaments.
The Spaniard, who is in the twilight of his career, is struggling to win matches at the moment as his season tally is still in the negative territory (5/8). He also finished his previous two seasons with the minus W/L ratio (22/44 and 9/11).
Tommy Robredo has entered Barcelona 17 times in the past and winning the title once in 2004 is his best result in this event. Apart from that, he also finished as the runner-up once in 2006 and made a handful of quarterfinal appearances as well.

Ivo Karlovic News

Ivo Karlovic snapped his four-match losing run and put together some fine performances when he reached the semifinal at Houston two weeks ago. Doing so, he took his season tally to 8/7.
The big-serving Croatian enters Barcelona after a ten-year gap. He last appeared here in 2008, when he lost the second round match to Alberto Montanes in three sets (first round bye).
While the 35-year-old Robredo is finding it hard to compete on tour, the 39-year-old Karlovic became the oldest ATP Tour semifinalist in 25 years with that run at Houston earlier this month.
