Roger Federer vs Aljaz Bedene Tennis Prediction

Playing his first tournament since the Miami Open (March 2018), Roger Federer won his maiden title at ATP Stuttgart and reclaimed the top spot in the ATP Rankings, for the third time this season.
The Swiss and World #1 Roger Federer made his ATP Halle debut in 2000 and has appeared here 15 times. ATP Halle is Roger Federer’s most successful tournament having won this title nine times and finished as the runner-up on two occasions.
Roger Federer, who entered ATP Stuttgart on the back of two straight defeats against Juan Martin Del Potro and Thanasi Kokkinakis, did not look too convincing as he lost the first set to Mischa Zverev (R16) and was trailed by a mini-break in the deciding set tiebreaker against Nick Kyrgios in the semifinal.
Aljaz Bedene suffered his third straight defeat when he was taken down in three sets by Marius Copil in the first round of ATP Hertogenbosch last week. He lost the previous two matches to Pablo Cuevas in the French Open and Pablo Carreno Busta in the Rome Masters.
The Slovenian, who is enjoying his career-best season in 2018, is quite unfortunate as he was drawn against Roger Federer in the first round of the Australian Open and ATP Halle, and Rafael Nadal in the second round of Monte Carlo.
Roger Federer won their only previous meeting which came in the first round of the Australian Open earlier this season in straight sets. The 20-time grand slam champion has never lost a first-round match at Halle, and the ATP Halle debutant, Aljaz Bedene, has very little chance of ending that run.

Tennis Prediction: Roger Federer 2-0 SET
Odds: 1.33
