Borna Coric vs Stefanos Tsitsipas Tennis Prediction

This will be the first meeting between these two players. Both Coric and Tsitsipas are extremely talented and has got the game to excel in these conditions, but the Croatian is relatively fresh than the Greek which could play a significant role in deciding the outcome of this contest.

Stefanos Tsitsipas News

Stefanos Tsitsipas was denied the main draw wildcard in Rome despite posting impressive results on clay in the recent weeks. But it did not matter much for the Greek teenager as he secured two wins over Mikhail Kukushkin and Dusan Lajovic in the qualifying stages.
After playing out ten tough and grueling matches in consecutive weeks at Barcelona and Estoril, Tsitsipas lost to Evgeny Donskoy in the first round of Madrid Masters last week. He created 20 break point opportunities during the match but could convert just one of them.
The Next Gen Star is still expected to be tired as he has played so many matches in the last two months and he did look a bit fatigued during his qualifying wins over Kukushkin and Lajovic.
Playing only his second clay tournament of the season in Madrid last week, Borna Coric produced two dominant performances against Pablo Carreno Busta and Jan Lennard Struff before losing out to the eventual runner-up Dominic Thiem in the round of 16.
It was a disappointing defeat for the Croatian youngster considering he had the chance to serve for the match in the second set but failed to close it out, 6-2 6-7 4-6.

Borna Coric

Earlier this season, Borna Coric posted his career-best result in Masters 1000 event by reaching the semifinal in Indian Wells and quarterfinal in Miami. Additionally, he also made the quarterfinal at Doha and Dubai, which makes this an impressive start to the season (17/8).
Unlike his opponent Stefanos Tsitsipas, Borna Coric has already appeared here twice in the past, failed in the qualifying stages in 2015 and faced a first-round defeat in 2016.
